Continuing with Opizone
Evidence suggests that most relapses take place in the first three months after stopping opiate use. Relapse should not be viewed as a failure but as part of the journey towards being drug-free. You will have learned important lessons for when you feel ready to try again.
Opizone (naltrexone) is usually taken for at least three months although some patients may benefit from taking it for longer. Your prescriber will discuss with you how long you need to continue with your treatment.
