WHAT IS OPIZONE?

Opizone is a brand of naltrexone hydrochloride. Opizone comes in a beige tablet containing 50mg naltrexone.

Naltrexone belongs to a class of drugs called opioid antagonists which have been used in the UK for more than 20 years to help prevent relapse in people who have been dependent on opiates. It is used as part of a treatment programme to help people stop taking opiates and remain off them.

– Opizone is not an opiate
– Opizone is not addictive

Opizone is most effective as a relapse prevention tool for people who are motivated to stay drug-free and have a good network of emotional support from family, friends or treatment services.

Opizone is a Prescription Only Medicine supplied in the United Kingdom by Britannia Pharmaceuticals.
